Is my DJ ripping me off? (read details)?

I was looking at some DJ's for my sweet sixteen party (new york suburb area) and I thought I found a great DJ.
He provided 4 hours of music with an MC, fun party favors (glowsticks, party vest, noisemakers, leis etc..) club type light show, 42 inch plasma TV with live feed, as well as a photo montage of my pictures.The party is about 60-75 people (max) He is charging us $1150, and I thought this was great. However after speaking to a few people, they said they got similar things for about $800.
Does $1150 seem like an okay price for all I'm getting?
